  Harrison city officials have again put off a decision on the solid waste contract with Methvin Sanitation.

  The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert due to illnesses possibly associated with ready-to-eat deli meat products that are produced by Siena Foods LTD, a Toronto, Ontario, establishment.

• Wes Wagner Announces for State Representative (Northeast Arkansas Town Crier)

  Wes Wagner of Jonesboro wants to be the next state representative for District 76. The district includes part of the east side of Jonesboro, Nettleton, Brookland, Bay, Lake City, Black Oak, Caraway, and Monette. The District 76 seat is being vacated by Rep. Ray Kidd, who is term limited.
